Panel discussion on California Tax Issues, questions submitted in advance for panelists, and possibly at the meeting, time permitting. Transcript of the session will be emailed to subscribers of the EBAEA News mailing list. The advance questions for this meeting are only starting to come in. This FTB Panel meeting is regularly held at the February EBAEA meeting and is always very informative and educational. In 2022 there was a total of 37 questions that the panel answered. The questions included 1) CA Basis Requirement 2) LLC Penalties 3) Alimony and the 540 4) FTB filings of Forms 1099-NEC and Form1099-Misc and more.
Learning Objectives
1. Understand CA Conformity Issues
2. Learn new CA laws/rules for filing CA returns for tax year 2022.
3. Expand knowledge of how CA calculates penalties.
4. Benefit from questions that other attendees have submitted.
