Description: You don't have to be charitable to benefit from a charitable remainder trust. This session introduces you to the types and uses of charitable remainder trusts through three case studies illustrating the benefits.  Preparation of Form 5227 will be distinguished from preparation of Form 1041 to understanding the major differences between split-interest trusts and more common trusts reported on Form 1041.
